Jim Donovan is dropping out as President Donald Trump’s nominee to serve as deputy Treasury secretary, Politico reported Friday. Donovan, a Goldman Sachs executive, was nominated in March for the No. 2 post at Treasury. In a statement included in Politico’s report, Donovan said he was “deeply honored” by the nomination but wanted to focus on his family.
