The Women’s World Cup is a hot topic these days and Bleacher Report is doing its part to help fans show their allegiance to the sport and the players.
The sports media company and web site has collaborated with female designers and music artists to create a line of jerseys and team logos for an exclusive apparel collection that speaks to equality, female empowerment, equal pay and other women-centric topics.
The participating artists include red-hot singer Billie Eilish, as well as rapper Megan Thee Stallion, singer/songwriter Summer Walker, graphic artist Laci Jordan and others.
Summer Walker is one of the artists participating in the Women’s World Cup collection launch.
“From the Bleacher Report perspective, the Women’s World Cup is not a women’s sporting event. It’s simply one of the year’s biggest sporting events and one that we are going to cover and support with our distinct Bleacher Report voice,” said Ed Romaine, senior vice president and chief brand officer of Bleacher Report. “We do this through content on our app and across social platforms, with events, and e-comm extensions. This jersey collection was born from a place that is true to our mission in blending sports and culture in compelling ways for our audience
