The Australian Bureau of Statistics announced on Thursday that Australia recorded a merchandise trade surplus of A$6.009 billion in July. This figure surpassed the anticipated surplus of A$5.050 billion and marked an increase from June’s revised surplus of A$5.425 billion (initially reported as A$5.589 billion).Exports experienced a modest rise of 0.7 percent, following a revised increase of 1.4 percent in the previous month (previously reported as 1.7 percent).
