Similarly, Harley-Davidson (NYSE: HOG) announced last week that it would no longer use HRC’s metrics for evaluating the treatment of LGBTQ+ employees and confirmed it does not maintain a DEI department.The HRC Corporate Equality Index scores companies based on criteria such as nondiscrimination policies, spousal and partner benefits, transgender-inclusive healthcare, and community engagement with the LGBTQ+ population, as reported by Axios.A perfect score of 100 on the index reflects a company’s strong commitment to LGBTQ+ causes.
