This feature aims to revolutionize user interactions, making them more natural and engaging.Gemini Live represents a shift from text-based interactions to a seamless voice chat model, allowing for more fluid conversations with the AI assistant.As reported by CNET, Gemini Live is available exclusively to subscribers of Gemini Advanced, a subscription service for Android devices priced at $20 per month. Notably, customers purchasing the Pixel 9 Pro and Pro XL will receive a complimentary one-year subscription to Gemini Advanced.The new voice chat model enables users to have more dynamic conversations with the AI assistant. Users can interrupt the AI mid-sentence or pause the conversation to resume later. The AI is designed to adapt to these conversational nuances, offering a more immersive experience.Google has also introduced ten new voice options for Gemini, providing enhanced personalization for users. According to the company’s blog, Gemini Live offers a hands-free experience, capable of listening and responding verbally even when the device is locked or running in the background, akin to a traditional phone call.Currently, Gemini Live is being rolled out to Gemini Advanced subscribers on Android devices, initially available only in English.
