KBR has announced that it has secured engineering contracts from the Seatrium Group to design topside facilities for two new floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) units. These units will be deployed in Petrobras’ Atapu and Sepia fields located in the Santos Basin, Brazil.Under these contracts, KBR will deliver detailed engineering services and provide technical procurement support for the topsides of the P-84 and P-85 FPSOs. These platforms are part of Petrobras’ latest generation of FPSO units, each designed with a production capacity of 225,000 barrels of oil per day.The material has been provided by InstaForex Company – www.instaforex.com
