Microsoft Corp. (MSFT) announced on Thursday that it is currently investigating access issues affecting its Microsoft 365 workplace productivity software for users connecting via AT&T networks. Following numerous outage reports, some users have been experiencing difficulties in accessing the services.According to Downdetector.com, a website that tracks service outages, approximately 21,000 incidents related to Microsoft 365 access problems had been reported by 8:58 a.m. New York time. Additionally, 4,300 users reported issues with Teams, and around 1,500 users of the cloud service Azure experienced outages. Other Microsoft online services, such as Xbox Live, Outlook, and the Microsoft Store, were also impacted.The Azure Support account noted on X, “We are investigating customer reports of potential connectivity issues to Microsoft services from AT&T networks. More details will be provided as they become available.”Meanwhile, the Microsoft 365 Status account posted on X, “We’re investigating an issue where users may be unable to access multiple Microsoft 365 services.
