Nokia (NOK) has announced a significant three-year contract with Vodafone Idea Limited to implement 4G and 5G infrastructure. This agreement includes the modernization and expansion of Vodafone Idea’s current 4G network, a segment where Nokia already holds a key supplier position. The deployment, aimed at enhancing connectivity, will benefit 200 million Vodafone Idea customers.Moreover, Nokia aims to increase its market presence by replacing the existing vendor in key areas such as Chennai and Andhra Pradesh, thereby becoming the predominant supplier in regions that account for over 50% of Vodafone Idea’s revenue.
