Uber Technologies, Inc. (UBER) and Waymo LLC announced on Friday an extension of their partnership to roll out autonomous, all-electric ride-hailing services in Austin and Atlanta via the Uber app.As per the agreement, Uber will deploy Waymo’s Jaguar I-PACE vehicles in response to ride requests.In this collaborative effort, Uber will be responsible for fleet management services, such as vehicle cleaning, repairs, and general depot operations.
