Eurozone inflation accelerated further to a new record high in June, while core inflation unexpectedly moderated due to the fiscal support measures to contain energy prices, official data showed Friday. The harmonized index of consumer prices advanced more-than-expected by 8.6 percent on a yearly basis in June, faster than the 8.1 percent rise in May, flash data from Eurostat showed on Friday.
