House Price Index MoM in the United Kingdom decreased to 0.90 percent in October from 1.70 percent in September of 2021. House Price Index MoM in the United Kingdom averaged 0.51 percent from 1983 until 2021, reaching an all time high of 4.10 percent in July of 1988 and a record low of -2.60 percent in May of 2008. The Halifax House Price Index is the UK’s longest running monthly house price series with data covering the whole country going back to January 1983. From this data, a “standardized” house price is calculated and property price movements on a like -for-like basis (including seasonal adjustments) are analyzed over time.
