Dow up over 200 points as stocks open higher

Stocks opened higher Thursday, with the S&P 500 attempting to stretch its winning streak to four days as investors weighed fears of an economic slowdown versus expectations for the Federal Reserve to deliver aggressive rate hikes in an effort to rein in inflation.
