President Donald Trump said Saturday that a nationwide sweep to deport thousands of undocumented immigrants would be delayed for two weeks in hopes of finding a political solution. “At the request of Democrats, I have delayed the Illegal Immigration Removal Process (Deportation) for two weeks to see if the Democrats and Republicans can get together and work out a solution to the Asylum and Loophole problems at the Southern Border,” Trump tweeted. “If not, Deportations start!” There had been reports that ICE raids would begin as early as Sunday, targeting 10 major cities, including New York, Chicago and Los Angeles.Market Pulse Stories are Rapid-fire, short news bursts on stocks and markets as they move.
