Vaccine makers lower after U.S. says it supports IP waivers

Vaccine makers Pfizer , BioNTech and Moderna each traded lower by 3% to 5% in premarket trade on Thursday, following the announcement from U.S. Trade Representative Katherine Tai that the U.S. supports the waiver of intellectual-property protections on COVID-19 vaccines. Another maker of COVID-19 vaccines, AstraZeneca , was flat in London trade.
