KARE 11 morning anchor, Tim McNiff, is taking on a new role at KARE, launching a multi-platform news and sports digital series for KARE 11. The series will focus on in-depth commentary and insider interviews, pulling heavily on McNiff’s sports and news backgrounds.

“Innovation is a constant in this business and the need to continuously create new content on all of our platforms is key to what we do,” said John Remes, KARE 11 General Manager. “Tim will be creating something we don’t have at KARE 11, or in the market.”
Replacing McNiff on the KARE 11 Morning Show is Kris Laudien, former anchor at Global News Canada. Laudien will be anchoring KARE 11 Sunrise, alongside Sven Sundgaard and Alicia Lewis. Laudien’s first day will be March 5th.
