National competition recognizes the best campaigns in the field of healthcare marketing and advertising

The Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards showcases outstanding achievements in healthcare advertising, including print ads, websites, digital content, communications, and media.

The award winning “Cancer won’t wait” ad campaign created a brand identity for BAMF Health, the world’s first vertically integrated platform for molecular imaging and radiopharmaceutical therapy, and drove consumer awareness for the advanced cancer treatment BAMF Health provides patients. ddm created outdoor, TV, streaming audio and video, radio, native, digital ads, and social media advertising. The result: a staggering 618% increase in the average number of website users per week, and a 240% increase in organic search visitors while TV ads were running. Thus, BAMF Health went from being a relatively unknown Grand Rapids-based healthcare company to a household name in Michigan overnight.
This year, over 4,300 entries were received, making the 42nd Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards the largest and most well-recognized healthcare advertising awards competition. A national panel of judges was engaged in reviewing all entries based on creativity, quality, message effectiveness, consumer appeal, graphic design, and overall impact. Gold awards were given to 431 entries, silver awards to 267 entries, and bronze awards to 178 entries.
ddm’s “Cancer won’t wait” campaign was also a recent recipient of the American Advertising Federation West Michigan ADDY award.
