On August 3, 2023, IAS reported its financial results for the second quarter of 2023, revealing the growth of its optimization revenue had meaningfully slowed.
On this news, IAS’s stock price fell $3.66 per share, or 19.44%, to close at $15.17 per share on August 4, 2023.
Then, on February 27, 2024, IAS reported financial results for the fourth quarter of 2023 and issued revenue guidance below analyst expectations. On an earnings call later that day, the Company admitted that these disappointing revenue numbers resulted from pricing cuts issued to customers across the Company’s measurement and optimization businesses.
