COSTA MESA, Calif., July 24, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Researchers in a groundbreaking neuroimaging study have discovered that individuals with depression exhibit significantly higher levels of blood flow in various brain regions. Key findings from the study indicate that depressed patients show increased blood flow in critical brain areas, including the frontal cortex, anterior cingulate cortex, basal ganglia, thalamus, and cerebellum.
