Rémi Thomas, Proofpoint’s Chief Financial Officer, Named Interim CEO
SUNNYVALE, Calif., Oct. 25, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Proofpoint, Inc., a leading cybersecurity and compliance company, today announced that Rémi Thomas, Chief Financial Officer, has been appointed interim Chief Executive Officer. He will assume Ashan Willy’s responsibilities, who is stepping down as CEO of Proofpoint after seven years with the company to pursue an opportunity outside of the cybersecurity space. Ashan Willy will work closely with Rémi Thomas over the coming weeks to ensure a smooth transition.
