MIDLAND, Texas, Nov. 13, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Viper Energy, Inc. (NASDAQ: VNOM) (“Viper”) announced today the pricing of an underwritten public offering of 9,018,760 shares of its Class A common stock by certain selling stockholder (the “Secondary Offering”). The gross proceeds from the sale of the shares by the selling stockholder will be approximately $264 million. Viper will not receive any proceeds from the sale of the shares by the selling stockholder.
As part of Viper’s stock repurchase program, Viper has agreed to purchase from the underwriter one million shares of its Class A common stock being sold as part of the Secondary Offering at a price per share equal to the price per share paid by the underwriter to the selling stockholder.
