A lawsuit was filed in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York on behalf of investors who purchased or acquired the securities of WBD between February 23, 2024 and August 7, 2024, inclusive, alleging violations of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 against the Company and certain of its senior officers.
According to the lawsuit, Defendants made misrepresentations concerning WBD’s sports rights negotiations with the NBA, which were causing or likely to cause, WBD to significantly reevaluate its business and goodwill.
