Wages in the United States increased to 23.24 USD/Hour in March from 23.18 USD/Hour in February of 2019. Wages in the United States averaged 11.20 USD/Hour from 1964 until 2019, reaching an all time high of 23.24 USD/Hour in March of 2019 and a record low of 2.50 USD/Hour in February of 1964. In the United States, wages are benchmarked using average hourly earnings. Data relate to production employees in mining and logging and manufacturing, construction employees in construction, and nonsupervisory employees in the service-providing industries. These groups account for approximately four-fifths of the total employment on private nonfarm payrolls.
