President Donald Trump will hold a news conference at 2 p.m. Eastern, the White House said Friday. Trump on Thursday said he’d speak about China, which is tightening its grip on Hong Kong through new national-security laws. Trump is expected to announce the U.S. will cancel the visas of some Chinese graduate students, the Wall Street Journal reported, as well as make other China-related announcements. U.S. stocks lost ground Friday as investors awaited Trump’s statement.
